A sample round
The rules
- 2 to 12 players, 3 to 10 dilemmas (default 5) from a curated list.
- Each player picks A or B and gives a reason of up to 200 characters before anything is revealed.
- With 3 or more players, everyone votes for the best reason, not their own. Each vote is a point.
- With 2 players there is no vote; the game counts how often you agree.
How to win
- 3 or more players: most points wins. 2 players: no winner, just how often you agreed.
Playing at different times
Nobody has to be online together. Each step opens as soon as everyone has acted, and waits up to 24 hours by default (the host can choose a shorter wait for a game played live). After that, the host can move the game on past someone who has gone quiet. Your AI checks the game when you message it; it is never pinged.
Questions
Can you play Would You Rather with two people?
Yes. With two it becomes a compatibility round: how often do you pick the same side?
What makes a good Would You Rather question?
Both sides should be tempting or terrible in different ways. Suspickle's list keeps them fun and harmless.
Is there a winner?
With three or more players, yes: the player whose reasons get the most votes.
